My Story

Victor graduated in Electrical Engineering from Saxion in 2001. After working in the event industry for two years, he joined 3T B.V. as hardware engineer. Here, Victor contributed to many projects for different clients, refining skills in prototyping electrical systems, microcontroller-based system development. This encompassed DFT, DFM analysis, SI simulation, and SPICE simulation, laying the groundwork for a dynamic career in industrial robotics.

As a Research Engineer at the University of Twente for over eight years, Victor engaged in projects ranging from motor control to ultrasound, showcasing adaptability and a curiosity for diverse technological domains. Highlights here are the development of heavily customized measurement setups such as the ambulatory PowerSensor inertial kinematics measurement system, the development of an ultrasound system to measure bone kinematics in-vivo and the development of the electronics for the Symbitron exoskeleton.

At Saxion, Victor is Technical Lead in the projects, such as the CHARISMA project which integrates existing robotic frameworks with gas sensing to perform autonomous inspection in the gas industry. Simultaneously, as a Systems Engineering expert for education, Victor blends technical acuity with a commitment to crafting effective learning experiences.
