My Story
Laura started her professional foundation at the ROC van Twente, where she earned her MBO4 in Executive Secretary/Management Assistant between 2015 and 2018.
Her career began with an internship at Saxion University of Applied Sciences in January 2018, a place that would become a recurrent theme in her professional life. This initial foray into the academic world provided Laura with a glimpse into the intricacies of educational administration, setting the stage for her future endeavors. By June of the same year, she transitioned into a role as a Secretary within the same university, further solidifying her administrative and organizational skills.
Laura's journey then took a turn towards the healthcare sector, with internships at Livio and Mediant in 2020.
In November 2020, Laura ventured into the dynamic world of Yource Group, starting as a Source and Contact Research Employee. Her dedication and aptitude quickly propelled her to the position of Regional Coordinator of Work Distribution, where she honed her skills in managing workflows and coordinating teams across regions.
In parallel with her professional journey, Laura continued to pursue academic excellence. After completing her propaedeutic year in Nursing at Saxion University of Applied Sciences, she embarked on a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences at the University of Twente in August 2022.
In September 2023, Laura's journey came full circle as she returned to Saxion University of Applied Sciences, this time as a Management Assistant. This role synthesizes her diverse experiences, allowing her to leverage her expertise in administration, customer service, and healthcare in a dynamic academic setting.
