My Story
Henri's professional odyssey is a captivating narrative of evolution, growth, and the relentless pursuit of excellence in the intersection of technology, project management, and organizational development. His journey, marked by a profound dedication to improving systems and processes, unfolds across varied landscapes, from the meticulous corridors of policy and management to the dynamic realms of mechatronics research.
The early chapters of Henri's story are set within the halls of Conclusion, where, as a junior consultant from 1998 to 2002, he embarked on his professional journey. Here, Henri began honing his skills in consultancy, laying the groundwork for a career characterized by innovation and strategic foresight.
Transitioning to a role within Npol from April 2002 to December 2003, Henri stepped into the complexities of internal quality and business operations. As a member of the management team, he coordinated and professionalized the internal mechanisms, setting a precedent for excellence that would define his career.
The narrative takes a compelling turn as Henri joins the Concern Informatiemanagement Politie from January 2004 to July 2006. In this capacity, he supported the professionalization of functional management and information management across police forces, conducting training and workshops that emphasized the significance of structured processes and effective governance.
Henri's odyssey through the realms of change and management deepened from August 2006 to December 2010, where his efforts in organizing and supporting police organizations in functional management and information management crystallized his expertise in change management.
From January 2011 to January 2012, Henri's visionary leadership began to take shape as he prepared the functional management for the National Police. He developed a vision for functional management by 2020, establishing a reference framework and laying the foundations for the organization's future direction.
In the years that followed, Henri played a pivotal role in shaping the information management organization within the National Police, emphasizing functional management and orchestrating a comprehensive transition towards a new functional management organization.
Joining Valori as a Managing Consultant from September 2015 to December 2017, Henri's narrative expanded to include the integration of Agile and DevOps methodologies with existing management organizations, emphasizing the balance between innovation and the preservation of effective management practices.
In the heart of his story, Henri ventured into the public sector with the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations from June 2017 to December 2017, orchestrating the functional management for a nationwide recruitment and selection solution, showcasing his ability to navigate and unify complex bureaucratic structures.
From January 2018 to April 2023, Henri's role as a Senior Advisor on Information Management at Rijnbrink highlighted his strategic acumen. Here, he led digitalization and information management change projects, advising management and directors on the adoption and development of digital transformation initiatives.
In May 2023, Henri embarked on his latest chapter as the Project Manager/Coordinator for the Mechatronics Research Group at Saxion University of Applied Sciences. In this role, Henri applies his vast experience in business development, change management, and project management to foster innovation and drive the group forward.
