My Story
Hanieh's story is a journey of relentless pursuit of knowledge and innovation in the dynamic fields of mechatronics, robotics, and automation engineering. Her voyage begins at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, where she laid her foundational stones by earning a Bachelor of Science in Power System Engineering. With an impressive score, Hanieh showcased her dedication and intellectual prowess early on. Driven by a passion for advanced technologies, she continued her academic ascent at Shahrood University of Technology. Here, Hanieh deepened her expertise by pursuing a Master of Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Control Engineering, achieving an outstanding grade that reflected her commitment and skill in these intricate domains. Hanieh's professional journey commenced at PKS | Peyman Khotout Shargh in Mashhad, Iran, where she embarked on her role as an Automation Systems Engineer. Her responsibilities included assisting the Tender unit, researching Substation Automation Systems, and enhancing external communications. This role marked the beginning of her exploration into the complex world of automation and set the stage for her future endeavors. In September 2012, Hanieh transitioned to the Sadjad University of Technology, where she served as a researcher in the field of Automation and Robotics systems. Her work focused on SCADA, DCS, and Substation Automation, emphasizing the importance of equipping substations with monitoring systems. Her role as a visiting expert on SCADA systems underscored her growing expertise and the increasing recognition of her abilities in the field. Her journey took a significant turn in December 2014 when she became a Project Manager at Khorasan Power Engineering Consultant Company (Moniran). Here, Hanieh was entrusted with leading projects within the Department of Electrical and Automation Systems, further honing her leadership skills and technical acumen. In August 2017, Hanieh's path led her to the Saxion University of Applied Sciences in the Enschede Area, Netherlands, as a Lecturer and Researcher. Here, she immersed herself in the world of ROS-Industrial for Industrial robots, spearheading projects on Human-Robot Collaboration. She worked with various collaborative robots, including UR5 (Universal robot), YuMi (from ABB), Fanuc, and Aubo (i5), focusing on practical applications that bridged the gap between humans and robots. Parallel to her role at Saxion, Hanieh embarked on a Ph.D. journey in January 2019 at the University of Twente, collaborating closely with the Mechatronic group at Saxion University of Applied Science. Her research, centered on the interaction control of drone manipulators for industrial inspection and maintenance, showcases her dedication to pushing the boundaries of robotics and mechatronics. Hanieh's story is not just a chronicle of academic and professional achievements; it's a narrative of a visionary dedicated to advancing the fields of mechatronics, robotics, and automation engineering. Through her work, she continues to contribute to the future of technology, blending innovation with practical applications that have the potential to revolutionize industries and improve human-robot collaboration.
